According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 799 people, 367 households, and 229 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,335.8 people per square mile (514.2/km²). There were 425 housing units at an average density of 710.5/sq mi (273.5/km²).
