According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.7 km²), of which, 1.2 square miles (3.2 km²) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.5 km²) of it (13.48%) is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 406 people, 84 households, and 75 families residing in the city. The population density was 332.3 people per square mile (128.5/km²). There were 89 housing units at an average density of 72.8/sq mi (28.2/km²).
